Chalet Le Chanterey is a new-build chalet in a really wonderful location, just outside Morzine town centre. The chalet is nestled amongst other traditional Savoyard chalets, with the home-run piste right on the doorstep. A gentle stroll along the quiet road brings you swiftly to the town centre and all the amenities and activities that Morzine has to offer!
The building works for Chanterey can begin this autumn, with the chalet ready to be occupied for Christmas 2023. The property is built over four floors, with the first three floors catering for sleeping and recreation needs, and the top floor dedicated to dining and relaxation, really making the most of the elevated position and superb views.
A state-of-the-art ‘intelligent’ door at street level leads into a large entrance hall to welcome you into the chalet. Built-in storage in the entrance takes care of tidying away all the outdoor paraphernalia. There are two generous bedroom suites on the ground floor, each with an en-suite bathroom and built-in wardrobe space, and the large laundry room on this level is a practical addition for the storage of linen, and for those necessary household chores.
On the first floor, there are another two double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and lovely views. The larger bedroom also has its own private balcony. Further to these two suites, there is an option for either a second sitting room and a guest cloakroom or, alternatively, an additional bedroom in the guise of a children’s bunkroom, plus family bathroom.
Moving to the top floor, the main living space consists of an open-plan fitted kitchen with a generous dining area, which has access both to the sunny terrace (with potential for a hot-tub), and a separate balcony, both offering splendid views over the Morzine valley. A cosy sitting area, also with its own balcony, is perfect for relaxing with friends and family at any time of the day.
For that extra touch of comfort and luxury, Le Chanterey also has a basement level kitted out to cater for your entertainment and pampering needs, with a games/cinema room and a sauna.
Outside the chalet, there is covered parking and a further open parking space. The ski slopes of the Pleney are within walking distance of the property, with a walk uphill of around 150m and then a short off-piste scoot to join the home run, ‘Retour des Nants’. Alternatively, the ski bus stop is around 50m from the chalet, for a speedy way to join buses servicing the Avoriaz ski area. Morzine town centre is only about 1km from the chalet, a short and pleasant walk of around 20 minutes.
