This family run Hotel, built in 1993, has not been in operation for some years. The 600m2 of space could lend itself to the creation of individual studios and/or apartments, plus additional income could be made from the bar/restaurant. Alternatively it could be run as a Hotel once more.
Set against the mountain slope overlooking the Lac du Vallon, it is in an attractive and prominent position for passing trade with parking in front of the building, next to the lake, and to the side of the building.
The ground floor consists of a restaurant floor with TV corner, a bar (these two rooms can seat up to 90 people), kitchen, plenty of storage and a laundry room.
On the first floor, serviced by a wide staircase and corridor, there are 8 en suite bedrooms and linen cupboard with heating controls for each bedroom. Access onto a large terrace.
Second floor as the first, but with a small balcony. The two upper floors are covered with hard wearing industrial carpet.
There is underfloor heating throughout with individual room control, all the windows are double glazed. Currently on a septic tank, the main drainage is due to reach the Hotel in Autumn 2020 and the electricity cables will soon be underground.
Lac du Vallon was formed by a land slide in the mid 1940s. It is a protected lake so is very popular for fishing and walking. The potential for summer business here is extremely good. In winter the nearest skiing is the Roc d'Enfer circuit (part of Les Portes du Soleil), just a 3 min drive, or hop on the free bus which stops outside the Hotel.
